SPOTLIGHT ON THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF DELAWARE
Every day, a child has the chance to grow up to Be Great. Every day, the Boys &
Girls Clubs of Delaware is dedicated to fulfilling that promise for each of the
35,000 children we serve.
Every day, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware strives to carry out its mission
of inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to
realize their full potential as responsible, productive, caring citizens.
We have a bold vision. We believe success, indeed Greatness, is within the reach
of every Delaware child. And we provide the successful programming – educational
assistance, tutoring, mentoring, arts education, sports and recreation, and health
and lifestyle education – that empowers a generation of young people to realize
their full potential.
Every day, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware exists with one singular mission:
to help children realize their full potential… to help children Be Great.
Here are some ways you can help a child in need:
- Our 43 sites need donations of supplies to keep operating costs down. Club Directors
have specifically requested art supplies, reading books (for all ages), videos and
DVDs of kid-friendly movies, and sports equipment.
- Scholarship money is needed for at-risk children to receive day care. $100 will
allow a child to attend one of our Clubs before and after school for one week.

- Teen programs need sponsors for inter-club athletic leagues. Your business could
sponsor a team for a mere $150.
These are but a few of the opportunities available. With your help, the Boys &
Girls Clubs will continue to meet the needs of our youth. We thank you for your
